Use a cream instead.: Canestan is the brand name of clotrimazole, which has anti fungal properties. Lotrimin is another brand. If treating a vaginal yeast or fungal infection, the tablet will have no effect if it falls out. Don't bother putting it back. Use a cream form that comes with an applicator, such as gene-lotrimin. One may also use a single oral form of Fluconazole to treat the infection (prescription).
