Possible reinfection: You would benefit from seeing your surgeon to take a look at the surgical area. A pilonidal cyst can recur or the cavity that fills with fluid can become infected.

Recurrence: Recurrence is one of the more common problems after pilonidal surgery. Every procedure that we offer for it has this risk. At 7 months you should be 100% recovered. If this is happening, it sounds like you may have a recurrence. See your doc for evaluation and possible re-excision.
