Yes: Whenever an endoscopy is done and gastritis and ulcers are diagnosed, we are always looking for tumors, whether or not h. Pylori is found.

Cancer : If a stomach biopsy is done, they will rule out h. Pylori infection as well as metaplasia, dysplasia or neoplasia that's cancer at same time.
