A member asked:

Is it abnormal for the tibial tuberosity to be larger and more pronounced on one leg?

Probably no biggie: Most likely its slightly more pronounced from a prior injury with scarring. It could also be just a little normal variation. As long as there are no other symptoms, it should be fine. If you have pain or concerns, get it checked out.

Okay: There can often be a small difference in size but if there is growth or any symptoms such as redness or pain you should see your physician.
