Knobby knees: Usually occurs in teenage years, associated with overuse, growth spurts and injury. The front of the knee, tibial tuberosity and patellar tendon, enlarge forming a lump. Best to check with an experienced orthopedic surgeon in your local area for advise. Surgery is not the first option. Take friend/family with you. (osgood-schlatter disease/osteotomy).
