Can't be done: A girl of 21 years has finished growing, and there are no drugs that will increase her height.

Make a taller image: Since a 21 year-old woman cannot increase her body's height anymore (her growth plates have fused), she must work on presenting a taller image. Expressing confidence and good leadership skills, standing with a straight posture, walking gracefully, wearing heels, wearing clothing with vertical stripes, and using other wardrobe techniques can all make a woman seem taller.

Inner confidence is key, even if it feels like an act at first! There are benefits for being any height, so it is best to embrace it. Just be cautious with the heels: 4 inch stilettos may make you taller, but at the risk of being a 'faller.'

I am 21 year old girl. Can i increase my height?

Unlikely: The major driver for height originates in the long bones of the body, primarily the legs. When the growth centers of the legs have quit making new bone, as would be expected by 16-17y in a female, you're as tall as you will ever be. An x-ray if the hand can be used to demonstrate you're bone maturity & if the growth centers show open growth centers you may grow taller. If not you, re done.

Depends on situation: Most girls can expect about 5 cm of linear growth after the onset of menses. Most 14 yo will expect 2-3 cm. You can download a growth chart & follow specifics from the cdc website. See www.Cdc.Gov/growthcharts.

Can i increase my height by 1 inch or so after age of 21? I am a girl.

Unlikely to happen: At 21 your growth centers have likely closed so don't expect to grow taller. If you want to know for sure an x-ray of your wrist & hand can be analysed for bone maturity & tell if the growth centers remain open to new growth.

No: Average adult height for a grown woman in the United States is between 5-4 an 5-5. So that height in this country is actually exactly the normal.
