Yes: If you are one of the lucky ones. Best way to check is with a panoramic x-ray. Without this, it is possible that they are there, but not erupted into the mouth or not visible on the bite-wing x-rays. This is one of the reasons every one of my patients gets a panoramic x-ray when they start treatment. Hope you are lucky!.

Sure: Anything is possible. The only way to know if they are present or not is to have your dentist take the appropriate x-ray image, typically a panoramic or panorex image. With that image the dentist can provide you with a great deal of information.
