What can i expect at my baby's one year checkup?

The "check-up": Your doctor will compare your child's rate of growth to national standards, will do complete physical and neurological screening exams, will discuss her findings with you, will provide anticipatory guidance, will discuss recommended vaccines, and will solicit any concerns, comments, questions or complaints that you may have. She will give the shots and make any referrals or follow-ups needed.

Full exam, vaccines: Expect to have your baby's height weight and head circumference measured and plotted on growth curves specific to age and gender and have that data reviewed with you and given to you in a written format. Physical, verbal, and social development of your baby will be reviewed and compared to normal. Review of lifestyle habits. Vaccinations reviewed and given.
