Yes: If one has a normal pap with no risk factors then every 3 years is okay.

Yes: A low risk pt, no new sexual partners, with several normal pap's can go to a 3 yr cycle. Remember your health exam is about more than pap smears. It's about preventing breast cancer, ovarian cancer and heart disease. So even if you don't need the pap you still need an exam.
