Not sure: I would suggest seeing an ENT physician , oral surgeon, or oral medicine specialist.

A stone: All of us have some minerals contents in our saliva, some has more than normal that sometimes forms a stone , kinda like the kidney stones but in the canal that deliver saliva from the gland under the tongue to the oral cavity blocking the flow of saliva , causing those sensations. Advise to go to an oral surgeon or oral medicine specialist fr a ct scan to the glans as well as the floor of the mouth.
