A member asked:

What is the average time for numbness to go away when you have a face lift neck lift and brow lift?

Depends: This depends on the type of facelift, the surgeon, and if there were any nerve injuries during the operation. Post-op numbness is very common and usually lasts for one week but can last up to 4-6 months. It usually slowly desappears.

A few weeks.....: Usually, numbness resolves in a few weeks after face and brow lift. Small areas, however, may stay numb for several weeks to a few months. Much depends on the techniques used and patient factors.

Variable: The numbness may take a long time to resolve, 6 months to 1 year on the face. With an open browlift, you may experience permanent numbness on the scalp. http://www.dassmd.com/facelift/index.html.
