A member asked:

In hot, dry weather my arthritis is happy but add a bit of humidity and the pain goes through the roof. why does this happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is common: Folks with arthritis can often tell when the barometric pressure changes. There are pressure sensors around joints, and arthritis (can be of several kinds) seems to turn the sensors on. Many arthritis sufferers have this, but not all.
