Soon: Typical return to play after a concussion occurs once a patient has full resolution of concussion symptoms and signs. Then, return to physical activity in a gradual fashion. This "rehab" program varies, depending on what activity or sport you are hoping to return to. If basketball for example, run or stationary bike on day 1 and progress over a 5-day period leaving full contact until the end.
