Can't know for sure: After a tonsillectomy it is not good to put any hot smoke, and that would include cigarettes or marijuana. I have to tell you that when someone has a major piece of surgery, and their concern seems to center on when they can use drug "x" again, i get concerned that there is a drug problem, whether drug x is alcohol, marijuana or heroin. Two weeks would be reasonable, but think about it.
