Premed requirements: You should, of course, take all the premed requirements. It would be useful to take additional classes in psychology (at least basic), some classes in areas that interest you.(not in the medical field) so you can relate your knowledge and experiences with patients and to make you a more rounded individual (not just cold and clinical).

Get a good degree.: Get a degree in something you like, but make sure you take all the prerequisites for the medical schools you would like to attend. Read the admissions catalogues or see your school counsellor.
