See your doc: There are quite a few things that this could be, most of them not much to worry about. However, any sort of scrotal or testicular discomfort that is new or otherwise concerning is worth seeing your doc. Scrotal discomfort can also be associated with an early inguinal hernia. Again, an examination is required to detect. Good luck!

Something else: Depending on your age, mild discomfort could be a sign of a hernia or a varicocele. It could also indicate inflammation in the epidydimis. Finally, it could be referred pain from as unlikely causes as a ureteral stone. Your primary doctor can easily sort things out by performing a physical examination and a urinalysis.
