See doctor asap: If it's hard and painless, i'd be worried its a lymph nnode. And any time we feel a hard lymph node in the armpit, we think breast cancer. Please make sure she gets check out right! good luck!

She needs a doctor's: Any hard lump requires examination by a physician or surgeon. So she should go see the doctor as soon as possible. There is nothing else that can be done except stay calm and do not delay the check up for more than 7-10 days at most.
