Citalopram: Citalopram is an ssri antidepressant. Ssri's are known to affect libido and sometimes sexual performance in a significant number of people. Xanax (alprazolam) is not as connected with issues like this as ssri's, but if you're taking enough, it might interfere in other ways. If you have questions about your own situation, please talk with your prescribing physician.

Citalopram, maybe: It's possible for citalopram and other similar antidepressants like prozac, zoloft, paxil, (paroxetine) Lexapro and Luvox to cause erectile difficulties. However, there can be other causes such as depression, anxiety and medical issues. I would suggest discussing this with your physician. If it is from the citalopram, there are ways to address this. If it's from something else, there is help also.
