Are there any prescription meds that help with weight loss?

Yes: Yes, there are medicines like sibutramine which can help weight loss in obese patients. Though they are safe to take in most patients, the insurance companies don't pay for it as they are expensive. We recommend you try diet and exercise first and there are weight loss programs to help you.

So many!: Not only prescription but nutraceuticals work well when done correctly. The most common is phentermine. This can be combined with other medications to give an even better weight loss. Hcg diet works great too.
