Yes: In general, try not to take them too often unless your gastroenterologist prescribed them for just a few months. But to answer your question, taking an extra dose won't be harmful. The issue with Omeprazole is that it lowers the acidity too much of the stomach and that can lead to problems in the long term. Try digestive enzymes and apple cider vinegar...Hope this helps.
