Safe: I will assume that you're on dm medicine. Your trough glucose readings (immediately prior to meals) should be approximately 100, + or - 20. Interval between meals should be about 4-5 hours. The only instance that this reading of 91 is a problem would be if your supper meal is not routinely served until 6pm or so. Then there might be enough time for the reading to dip below 70, which is too low.
