What can i do if massage therapist put too much pressure on my poplteal artery and compromised vessel tone? (noticed difference in power cycling)

Difficult to injure: It would not be likely that a massage therapist would damage this type of vessel. Go see you pcp to get checked. There is likely another reason for your issue.

Get an angiogram: You may have a dissection or stricture of your popliteal artery and need to see a vascular surgeon for a complete exam and evaluation.

Tell him to decr pr: Tell your massage therapist , not to put too much pressure on your popliteal artery in the popliteal fossa.

Not likely: The popliteal artery is under signicant pressure, and with its muscular walls, it is very unlikely that any temporary pressure in that area would create any problems at all. You may have a mild hyperextention or strain, causing pain in the popliteal region, which simply became more noticeable coincidentally after a massage. See your doctor for evaluation.

Exercise: Exercise is about the only thing that may help, but it will take some time. If you notice a significant issue, perhaps seeing your physician is in order.

Unlikely: Pressure on a large artery like popliteal artery is unlikely to cause peanent harm. Trauma to vessel compromising integrity of its structure can cause impaired blood flow and severe pain and weakness in the effected muscle.
