Hormone changes : It is important to use birth control methods as directed. Otherwise you expose yourself to unexpected hormonal changes which is what happened here. Just leave the current ring in for three weeks and the out for a week as normal and the bleeding should correct itself over time. Spotting on birth control is very common.
