What does it mean when the positive line on a pregnancy test shows up and has little color right before the ten minute mark, but doesn't get any darker?

It means one can...: A faint positive line on a urine pregnancy test is still a positive test, if the test is done correctly and read correctly. It means one can repeat a test 1 week later to see if it is positive again (it should be positive because the HCG levels will be much higher a week later if there is a pregnancy), or one can check with her doctor for an evaluation.
