Hi, i had a question doc..if a urine pregnancy test is faint positive ... should it get darker... if not aftr being 6 days overdue...means what?

Pregnant!: Any color change -- even a little teensy amount of pink that you can see with a magnifying glass -- is significant, and means that your are pregnant. There is not "faint positive." it is either positive or negative. This is no "faint negative" either. If you see any color change, you are pregnant.

Faint + is positive: The currently available home pregnancy test kits are highly accurate and easy to do, though they are not perfect. But, seeing a faint positive line is highly likely that you are pregnant. If u want a quick sure answer, do another test, use different brand. Retest in 3-5 days will likely give strong positive. Start your prenatals, eat well/exercise regularly, and consult doc congrats and good luck.
