Common: Brown spotting around the time of a positive pregnancy test is really common. I worry when it's bright red and accompanied by cramping. There is a risk of miscarriage with every conception, and there really isn't anything to do at this point but to wait and see if the sac grows. Maybe you conceived more recently than you thought, and the pregnancy is just early?
