See surgeon: Pleurodesis is a procedure done to close the space between the lung and chest wall. This is done by causing an inflammatory reaction which can some discomfort sort of like pleurisy. However, continued discomfort can be other things, too. Ask your surgeon. The only dumb question is the one not asked.

Depends: Why pleurodiesis? For pneumothorax? You may still get smaller localized air collections and discomfort. For pleural effusion, there can still be discomfort from the process. After thoracic surgery, scar and tightness is not uncommon.
