Had a hida scan the ejection rate 91% is that bad, a lot of pain in my right side that goes into my right shoulder blade, does it need to come out?

HIDA seems OK: The normal gallbladder ejection fraction is over 50% so 91% is just fine. As to whether the gallbladder needs to come out, that depends. Do you have gallstones? If you have lots of little stones, that energetic gallbladder could be pushing a couple into your bile duct every time you eat a meal and causing you a gallstone attack.

Normal value : In adults the normal value depends on the speed of injection of Kinevac (sincalaidt . In recent study lower limits of normal for 60 minute injection of Kinevac was 38%. Time of injection is variable among different medical centers.

Maybe : Ef greater than 30-35% is normal. However, if there are symptoms associated then surgery may be indicated. Other studies are necessary, including ultrasound or ct to look for stones or sludge. Hope this helps.
