Depends..ask surgeon: Many rf treatments (pelleve, etc.) can be beneficial to maintain the benefits of facelift surgery down the line, but i would definitely wait a good amount of time after the surgery. I have also seen patients who have recieved rf treatments like thermage where they have had fat loss from the rf and can cause problems. See your surgeon to find out first.

RF: If the surgery is done correctly, you will not need radiofrequency skin tightening. Rf treatments are generally used to tighten tissues when patients do not want to undergo surgery.

Depends upon when...: Adiari, should be fine so long as you give yourself enough time to heal. Speak with your surgeon to determine when he or she feels the time is right, but sometime around 6-8 weeks after surgery should be fine. Though, i hope you wouldn't necessarily need that treatment so soon! jeff spiegel www.Drspiegel.Com.

RF treatments : Radiofrequency (rf) treatments after facelift should be safe, but also shouldn't be necessary for quite some time after a full facelift. I would expect that you should wait at least 3 months after surgery before considering an adjunctive treatment like that. If in doubt, discuss with your surgeon. After 3 months, a treatment like rf or ultherapy should be safe and shouldn't damage the results.

RF and Facelifts: Radiofrequency treatments for example with thermage or ulthera are safe following facelift procedures after the healing period and will usually improve and help maintain the results.

Radiofrequency: It is ok to have radiofrequency treatments after facelift but not for the first 4 weeks. That is the time your skin is still healing and any laser treatments can impede the healing process.

Radiofrequency: You should be able to get radiofrequency treatments after a facelift. Make sure you wait 3 months to let the acute inflammation and post-operative recovery subside.

It is safe: Historically, radiofrequency has shown subtle benefits in tightening the face and neck. The newest generation which uses more power seems to be working better. It's probably best to allow healing up to 6 weeks before manipulating the face due to strength of healing of the incisions. Also subtle amounts of swelling will persist for 3-6 months. This would be the earliest i would recommend this.
