I have been operated for fat hernia what precaution is required after this operation. i am 51 yrs and from india.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Activity a tolerated: In general, activity as treated by pain is a good rule of thumb after hernia repair. There are however exceptions to the rule depending on the size and location of the hernia, as well as the medical condition of the patient, obesity, and smoking status. Technique of repair is also important. Ask your surgeon for specifics.
