Panic: Your experience is not unusual with other people having panic attacks. Many of my clients have gone to the emergency room thinking they are having a heart attack only to find they are physically fine. The good news is that there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with your heart. Anxiety and panic can be treated.

Panic: Not uncommon. Symptoms will pass. Work with your doctor on finding ways to manage your anxiety, whether thru medications, cognitive therapy or both.

Anxiety??: First consult your primary care doctor for thorough physical exam., then if all is normal, u can be referred to a specialist to treat anxiety.

Panic attack: You are describing the classic panic attack; ruling out heart disease is important, as its difficult to separate the two from symptoms alone. If you are having frequent recurrence there is no shame in seeing a psychiatrist - they are the experts at treating these problems.
