See your MD: Celexa (citalopram) is an effective anxiety modulator and we use it a lot with good results , however, not every medicine helps everyone, best if you talk to your prescribe about this and let them asses the situation, this reaction could be worsening of anxiety or like you said it is hypo manic reaction.

Probably not: The depression of bipolar can be worsened by antidepressants. Sometimes the manic phase has not appeared and what looks like a unipolar depression is treated (reasonably) with antidepressants. This can then provoke a hypomanic reaction. But your description doesn't quite fit that. If you are just 2 weeks out, you might still be in the adjustment phase. Regardless, discuss this with your prescriber.
