Usually T3 (liothyronine) SR: T3 sr is usually compounded with cellulose. This theoretically gives a slower absorption. Cytomel (liothyronine) can also work well if divided three to four times a day. Some use Cytomel (liothyronine) during the day and sr at bedtime. Others do better with some T4 on board. Everyone is different. Treatment must be individualized.
