Need proctologist: You must have seen a general surgeon or proctologist to have your hemorrhoids diagnosed. It is time to see him/her again. Problem is most likely due to hemorrhoids, but colonic polyps can develop at a very age, so can colon cancer, especially if there is a positive family history. Thus you may well need to have a colonoscopy.
