Unlikely to happen: In this age of medicine, patients typically do not get admitted to the hospital for a "workup". Evaluations are done as an outpatient. Admissions are for acute problems. Even my elective open heart surgeries come into the hospital on the day of surgery. The workup for surgery is all done through an outpatient approach.
