Eye md: Both eye doctors are great options. But the scope of practice is mores dial with eye surgeon or ophthalmologists.

Eye doctor: While both optometrists and ophthalmologists are eye doctors, there is vast differences between the two. Optometrist have 4 yrs of training in glasses, contact and basic eye surveillance care. Ophthalmologists have 8 yrs of intense medical and surgical training through medical school. Inflammatory conditions frequently have significant other parts of body concerns. Ophthalmologists are best 4u.
