My daughter is 12 and lately she has been having these really bad pains right under her right rib sometimes it is so bad she can not really walk.

Chest X ray: If its so bad that she can't walk, perhaps she should have a chest xray to look for a fracture, or bone problem under her ribs. She might have also have strained the area, consider tylenol (acetaminophen) for a few days to see if it helps.
