Seek an evaluation: Pain with breathing can mean anything from a pulled muscle between the ribs to a blood clot in your lung. As such, this could be no big deal or could be life threatening. Please see you primary care provider soon to help sort out the cause.

When I lay on my left side a certain area of my ribs hurt. It doesnt hurt to breathe, move, workout or walk.only when laying on that side. Could it be muscle strain? Or from lifting weight? Its been a few weeks now and it hurts more this week.
