Why do doctors put more care into collecting their fees than into helping someone in dire need? i have given up hope.

Find new doctor: If you're so upset with your doctor, why don't you just find a new doctor instead of whining about it? Ask family and friends for referrals. Would you work for free and have to still pay your business expenses? If not, then why do you expect doctors to do that? Regardless, there are lots of doctors around - find a new one.

Generalization?: I am not sure what the issue in question is? Are you inquiring about doctors who decline services if the patient can not pay for treatment? Most doctors can't afford to provide pro bono care because of the over-head expenses. However, there are facilities where doctors provide services voluntarily or where care is low cost or free that are state or federal funded. Take care.
