Ulcers: Most ulcers will clear up without treatment in 7-14 days. However, visit your doctor, dentist, or an oral surgeon if it doesn't! a non-healing ulcer can be a sign of more dangerous lesions, including cancer. Some large, non-healing ulcers will require prescription medication to resolve and manage. It's ok to use over-the-counter topical meds (ora gel) the first week to manage any pain.

Palliative only: There are no real "cures" for canker sores (aphthous ulcers). The pain is usually the worst for only a few days and then subsides, although it may last for about 10 days. There are many over the counter treatments at your local pharmacy which either numb the area or provide some temporary relief by forming a protective coating. Avoid spicy and acidic foods. If it persists, see a dentist.

It depends: If the ulcer is traumatic, it is often self-limiting and will heal with time. Ulcerations in the mouth could also be a sign of other pathology. The cure would depend on the cause if the ulcer. A reasonable plan would be to seek professional evaluation if the ulcer persists for 2 weeks.

Depends: Depends on the cause of the ulcer. If it has persisted more than a week, see an oral surgeon for exam. Could be something serious like oral cancer.

See dentist: If the ulceration is present for over seven days see your dentist. Apthous ulcers or canker sores, do not usually present for a prolonged duration.

Depends: We have no cures for mouth ulcers, per se. Typically they are one of 2 kinds, both viral in nature. Aphthous ulcers occur on the thinner movable tissues like the floor of the mouth, between the cheek and gums, etc. Herpes is everywhere but those areas, except for the initial time when it can be anywhere. Warm salt water rinses seem to help somewhat for both.Acyclovir type meds for herpes.See Dentist

Mouth ulcer: is the most common oral lesions. Most tongue ulcers, infections will clear up by themselves within a week or two. You should see your GP or dentist if the ulcer gets worse or lasts for longer than 2 weeks. If concerned see your dentist ASAP.

Mouth ulcer: If soothing treatments like bathing the area with warm salt water, maalox or glyoxide don't help, see an oral surgeon for diagnosis and treatment which could include a special corticosteroid gel used for mouth lesions.

Curing ulcer: If caused by irritation, such as broken filling, dental Rx required. If caused by one of many bacterial, viral, or fungal infections, should fully heal in <2weeks with no treatment. If not, MUST be examined by your Dentist. If ulcer is sore, raw, talk to your Dentist. There are OTC pain killers, Rx corticosteroids, and/or laser treatments that may help.
