No: But there's treatment to make them go away sooner. See your dentist to find out what kind of ulcers you're getting and (s)he'll recommend the appropriate medication.

Time: Should self-heal in 10-14 days. If not, must see your Dentist. Also some success has been reported with laser ablation. Topical application of OTC numbing agents, or Milk of Magnesia, may help. Dentist can also prescribe topical cortisone. So bottom line, see your Dentist.
