Time: Should self-heal in 10-14 days. If not, must see your Dentist. Also some success has been reported with laser ablation. Topical application of OTC numbing agents, or Milk of Magnesia, may help. Dentist can also prescribe topical cortisone. So bottom line, see your Dentist.
