Yes : It's possible but is just one of many causes. If concerned enough get an ultrasound of kidney and bladder as well as a urinalysis.

Of course: You may have an infection if you have any of these symptoms 1-you feel pain or burning when you urinate 2-you feel like you have to urinate often, but not much urine comes out when you do 3-your belly feels tender or heavy 4-your urine is cloudy or smells bad 5-you have pain on one side of your back under your ribs.This is where your kidneys are 6-you have fever and chills 7-you have nausea.
