Food choices Key: Most food is for maintenance. Exercise can drive burning body fat, but protein 1st fuel. For optimal health, best >50% of glucose (slow, smooth production) from internal conversion of protein & fat. Eating foods high in sugar/carbohydrates drives conversion, by the liver, of the sugars into fat, fructose especially bad about this. There's no such : Thing as natural spot fat loss. You need to lose weight in general ; a certain % will be abdominal fat. Eat healthfully ; be physically active. Calories burned must > calories consumed. To tighten ab's do crunches, reverse crunches, exercise ball crunches, pelvic thrusts, lying leg raises, side bridge ; “bicycling” exercise on your back. Engage in regular aerobic exercise.
