Petrolium jelly OK: Petroleum jelly has been used for dry skin in many situations and has helped many patients. Thorstensen, k.A., & birenbaum, d.L., (2012) recommends the use of petroleum jelly for conditions causing dryness of vuvla such as lichen sclerosis, planus, and lichen simplex chronicus. Please see your doctor to rule out any underlying condition.
