I wouldn't wait: A lung mass which is increasing in size is very concerning for cancer. Waiting a week or so probably doesn't make a difference but waiting 3 months would make me uncomfortable. You have already watched it for 9 months. Another 3 months means you have observed this lesion for a year!

Operate now: You have a growing nodule. If it can be removed now, you will know what it is, and if benign, you have resolved the problem. If you wait 3 months for a malignancy, you may lose the opportunity for optimal treatment. Unless you or your physician has an alternative plan and explanation- what are you waiting for?

See below: The nodule is not very large and is not growing very fast so i think it is safe to wait another 3 months which doesn't change the fact that you will have to get it out at some point because it is growing.
