Analgesic: A medicine to help manage pain control. Can be taken once daily in er form or every 6 hrs, prn, in ir form. Available brand and generic, and comes combined with tylenol, (acetaminophen) as an option. Not a major opioid, but can on occasion result in seizure activity. Some docs concerned re seratonin syndrome risk in combination with other drugs.
