Flomax (tamsulosin): Flomax (or tamsulosin) is a selective Alpha blocker medication. Used to help men empty their bladder by relaxing the bladder neck. It is also used to help pass kidney stones that are blocking in the ureter - increasing the likelihood of passage by about 50%. It is well tolerated with few side effects and begins to work within a week.
