Supervise.: Never leave an infant or toddler in a bathtub alone -- never. Stay within arm's reach of your child around any water, including toilets and buckets. Keep lids to toilets down, never leave water in an unattended bucket, and store buckets upside down.

Hands on baby!: Hi There, What a great question! With a 9 month old baby be sure to hold him and keep your hands on him outside of the pool, on the pool deck, in the pool and surrounding area. Remember drownings are silent and swift. Pool flotation devices are not safe. Enjoy your baby!
