Have your urine ...: Checked. You are right that utis usually cause burning pain but other things can cause "polyurethane".

Still could be: U need to see yoru doc or someone for a dipstick and if + u can be started on antibiotics and the urine sent for culture and sensitivity, if it comes back no infecion , then u may have a irritation in the urethra or u may have irritable bladder syndrome.
