Prob. normal, but...: Depends on your heart rate over a 24hr period. Maybe it is only high when you are in the medical office, . A 24hr holter monitor can be quite helpful to assess this. Other causes can be dehydrated status, high thyroid, or anemia. Sometimes people have a condition when they stand up that their heart rate markedly increases (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome- pots).
